“The World’s First Pop-Up-Hotel.”
The Lovelace was not a business idea, it was an experiment: The first pop-up hotel in the world. A large unused space. In the middle of Munich. Only for a limited time. 2017 – 2019. A chance to bring together exciting people and exciting ideas, acting as stage for things equally fun and important. We realized it in six months from scratch to finish.


With events everyday, what was going on was just as big a draw as the rooms: Exhibitions, performances, concerts, readings, happenings, showrooms, temporary shops, talks, discussions, conferences, coffeebar, kiosk, street kitchen, rooftop bar, club nights, parties, meetings, seminars, sorkshops and a box club.THE LOVELACE

Amore was a pop-up bar in the neighborhood of Maxvorstadt, Munich. The most prominent characteristic of the room was the artistic design:&#38;nbsp;The walls showed large areas of monumental illustrations by the munich artist createdbygabe. Additionally, the ceiling installation by vienna artist Raphaela Riepl with neon lights was a signature piece of the design.&#38;nbsp;In addition to bar operations, cultural events were regular:&#38;nbsp;readings and talks, discussions and social clubs, exhibitions and performances.

On one of the most beautiful lakeside properties on Lake Starnberg, something is being created that no one here had expected. The listed Villa Zitzmann will not become a luxury hotel with a large spa and wellness area, but Villa K, a "happening place," a retreat, a feel-good oasis for socially disadvantaged children and young people, single parents, young activists and volunteers of all ages.

Villa K is a mixture of creative seminar house, affordable family hotel and progressive adventure playground. A public guesthouse that sees itself as a social business. &#38;nbsp;The focus is on the promotion of children and young people. Future-relevant topics such as sustainability, environmental and animal protection, media competence, creativity, inclusion, justice and social commitment form the cornerstones of the content program.

The first users in 2022 will be refugee children and their escorts from Ukraine.

“This is where we move and get moved, share and show, relate and create, love and craft.”

Under the name "Lovecraft", all eight floors of a former department store on the Stachus in the heart of Munich are being creatively repurposed on more than 25,000 square metres. 

A place that for decades was dedicated solely to the topic of consumption is being transformed into a multifunctional meeting and cultural space that allows for many different uses at the same time. In this way, Lovecraft wants to make a positive contribution to the further development of urban society.

“I am Fat Cat and I decide all.”

“Fat Cat” is now the name of the “Gasteig”, formerly Europe’s biggets cultural centre. The cat is run by a non-profit&#38;nbsp; company with the aim of facilitating creative diversity, avoiding vacancies and enabling artists from all disciplines to work creatively in this city: Music, dance, theater, film, performing and visual arts for young and old. A glance at the new tenants already reveals the potential that can unfold here: creative, diverse, colorful and open to debate between young and experienced, between art and culture professionals and the neighborhood: Haidhausen.

The former Katzenberg concrete plant is becoming a creative destination as part of the art and culture project Sugar Mountain. The HAPPENING PLACE&#38;nbsp; functions as a creative experimental field and a neighborhood gettogether. 
Inside the former factory the SUPER STRUCTURE is a venue for theater, music, dance, cultural festivals, contemporary art, film and much more.
The outdoor area will be made accessible and usable for all Munich residents. SKATE FIELD, Basketball ART YARD and the TABLE SPORTS ARENA&#38;nbsp; are offers to the neighborhood for participation and interaction.
MULTI CORES are event spaces with changing uses. There will be an open-air program for the entire duration of the project: sports, markets, cinema, festivals, concerts and more.
POP UP WALLS and LIVING SCULPTURES create even more space for interactive art experiences on the site.
Sugar Mountain is a "non-profit" project and wants to be a positive force in the context of urban development.

Temporary use of the former Paketposthalle, Munich – since 2025. On the vast grounds of the old Paketposthalle in Munich’s west, Pineapple Park unfolds as a social playground between culture, sport and urban experimentation.Initiated as a temporary use project, the area brings together a rotating mix of street food markets, night bazaars, live performances, exhibitions, courts for padel, basketball and pickleball, as well as kids’ formats and public space interventions.
Rooted in Sugar Mountain’s ethos, Pineapple Park explores how abandoned infrastructures can become spaces of collective value and community presence — not just as venues, but as everyday playgrounds.
